Our Non-Profit client in Newton is looking for a Mid-level Administrative Assistant for a very busy office. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and transition quickly from one task to another
  • Provide support to organization leadership, including some executive assistant functions
  • Drafting correspondence in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Recording entries in Excel files and relevant data storage locations
  • Communicate efficiently with office staff
  • Proofreading outgoing correspondence
  • Scheduling appointments and managing staff calendars
  • Placing, routing, and receiving calls within a busy office
  • Assisting on any special projects, as requested

Required Qualifications:

  • Comfortable familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Able to communicate well, both verbally and via written correspondence
  • A friendly demeanor with great customer service skills
  • Able to learn new tasks and skills quickly
  • B.A./B.S. (any field)
