Quote of the Day: Walt Disney
“All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”
-Walt Disney
Whether personal or professional in context, life is a landscape with hills and valleys. After conquering one hill there will always be a plateau or a low valley, followed by another hill. Choosing to view perceived obstacles as stepping stones to conquering the next hill, to climbing out of the most recent valley or propelling oneself from the monotony of a plateau will only aid in creating your forward momentum. Disney’s version of a “kick in the teeth” could be anything from a momentary setback to what feels like utter failure– the trick is to view any instance of adversity or trouble as a tool which you can learn from in the future.
