Quote of the Day: It usually takes me more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech

by Jun 12, 2019

Preparation and practice always help. Even in situations where you need to respond in an unscripted manner, take some time to review first. Know the topic areas that could be discussed and anticipate questions. Practice your answers and have examples ready. Whether its an interview or a regular business meeting with a new client, prepare. As the famed writer and lecturer Mark Twain once reflected:

It usually takes me more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.
