Our University client in Boston is looking for an Administrative Assistant with excellent communication skills to provide executive and administrative support. This is a contract role. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Front desk/reception coverage (in person and telephone)
Placing procurement orders
Filing and faxing
Calendar maintenance (scheduling meetings, appointments, events, & room reservations)
Taking minutes in meetings as directed
Drafts and edits correspondence as directed
Assists executive assistant with planning and implementation of events, travel planning, and preparation of correspondence, reports, and presentations
Additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in person, over phone, and via email
Solid understanding of MS Office programs
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Discretion and professionalism in dealing with important clients and in handling sensitive and confidential information
Some experience with supporting procurement, accounts payable, human resources and payroll operations is a plus
BA/BS in any field
