Our University Client in Boston is looking for an Administrative Assistant. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Direct all administrative services for department, and assist with project workflow for the faculty (including handling busy phones, filing, faxing, processing incoming/outgoing mail, and ordering/restocking supplies)
  • Identify and prioritize needs; meet and exceed deadlines
  • Provide support for teaching, research, and service activities
  • Aid in budget and academic scheduling tasks
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including room and equipment reservation, as well as other logistics
  • Manage overall communication and record keeping

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of MS Office programs (Word and Excel in particular)
  • Very strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as work collaboratively with a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including proofreading)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • BA/BS, and 1-3 years of related experience
