Our Government Agency client in Boston is looking for an Associate Program Manager with excellent policy analysis, research and writing skills to provide support to a busy department. This is a three-month contract position. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare written summaries and reports of policy and data analyses, and draft written reports and other materials in easily understood formats for both internal and external engagement
- Review policy and models for payment in public and private payers, including a particular focus on CMS regulation and authority
- Support analysis and policy development for payment models for members, including policy for current models and proposing new payment mechanisms
- Obtain data and information from a wide variety of sources, including federal agencies, academic journals, professional organizations, news outlets, and blogs
- Identify sources of data and information relevant to specific analytic projects on department topics and issues
- Drafting and develop of materials, provide logistics support, create meeting minutes, and offer project management support to engage with external stakeholders
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong policy analysis, writing and research skills
- Solid understanding of MS Office programs
- Excellent organizing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to adapt to changes in the departmental needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in healthcare and human services desired, but not required
- BA/BS in any field
