Job description

Our small business client in Newton is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO, liaise with staff, third parties, perform administrative tasks. This is a contract role with the potential for a permanent role. It is 30 hours per week. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus, as is knowledge of Mandarin and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities include (but are limited to):

  • Manage client/restaurant files
  • Maintain employee files
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Assist in preparation for business meetings
  • Draft and respond to emails
  • Input and update data
  • Maintain communication with clients, vendors and service providers
  • Some out-of-the-office errands and tasks as needed


  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and reliable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
