Our Boston-based client is looking for an IT Helpdesk Support team member for a temporary contract role.  Prior helpdesk experience is preferred and there is the potential for a permanent placement 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing end-user technical support
  • Troubleshooting problems related to the desktop-computing, wireless and servers
  • Providing support for VPN issues.
  • Recommending and implementing process improvements
  • Serving as knowledge-point for staff members to come to for advice and direction
  • Following and adding to standard operating procedures and documentation.
  • Responding to job site service requests regarding installation, configuration and maintenance of PC.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior IT Helpdesk is experience is preferred  
  • Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team
