Our Boston-based client is looking for an IT Helpdesk Support team member for a temporary contract role. Prior helpdesk experience is preferred and there is the potential for a permanent placement
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Providing end-user technical support
- Troubleshooting problems related to the desktop-computing, wireless and servers
- Providing support for VPN issues.
- Recommending and implementing process improvements
- Serving as knowledge-point for staff members to come to for advice and direction
- Following and adding to standard operating procedures and documentation.
- Responding to job site service requests regarding installation, configuration and maintenance of PC.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Prior IT Helpdesk is experience is preferred
- Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team
