Our client, a prestigious university located in Boston, is looking for a contract temporary Project Manager to assist with student job recruiting preparation and processes. This position is part-time post (15 hours a week – with one day onsite).

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Providing the following services to students:

o   resume reviews,

o    interview preparation,

o   cover letter writing,

o    and job search strategies.

  • Offering Support which may be asynchronous (e.g. resume reviews and feedback) as well as synchronous (e.g. virtual one-on-one career coaching meeting).

Services will be targeted to handle peaks in demand and/or to leverage unique skills (e.g. students seeking assistance in a particular sector/industry, workshop, on offer discussion and negotiation).

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in writing and reviewing resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, and candidate or student career coaching.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Prior working in a Higher Education environment is preferred.
  • Experience handling HR and Recruiting related tasks also a plus.
