Our client, an esteemed University in Boston, is looking for a contract Compensation Analyst to assist in the development and administration of the school’s compensation programs. This can be a hybrid position with three days in office and two days working remotely.
As the Compensation Analyst, you will:
- Provide day-to-day compensation administration to support schools, units, and departments.
• Assist departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; perform market analyses and provide reports and data for compensation-related decisions.
• Review positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance.
• Conduct and participate in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys.Qualifications and Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably in HR, business or related field.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred or taking classes towards certification.
• One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation.
• Previous higher education experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, organizational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and HRIS systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred.
