Our Government Agency client in Boston is looking for a Paralegal with excellent analytical abilities and strong interpersonal skills to provide administrative support to a busy HR department. This is a contract role. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Serve as front-line employees responsible for labor and employee relations issues
Learn about and support administration and operation of Human Resources function through ensuring adherence to applicable laws, agreements, policies, and procedures
Participate in the collection and organization of information regarding employee complaints and other workplace matters
Determine and formalize decisions on disputed matters based on the collective bargaining agreements and workplace policies
Additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in person, over phone, and via email
Solid understanding of MS Office programs
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
BA/BS in any field
