Job description

Our University Client in Boston is looking for a Payroll Processor for a contract role. The Payroll Processor will be responsible for recording time-card entries into a timekeeping system. High attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for using computerized record keeping systems
  • Ensure information keyed in the system includes all necessary data elements and is accurate and complete
  • Review and verify data entry and correct data where necessary
  • Obtain additional information when documentation is incomplete or incorrect
  • Prepare and analyze various payroll related reports, including overtime, underpaid/overpaid and others as needed
  • Identify ways to improve productivity and service delivery
  • Perform related duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Include (but are not limited to):

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Prior experience using time entry or payroll systems preferred
  • The ability to read and type information quickly and accurately
  • Effective organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • The ability to use Word or Excel applications
  • The ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience
  • The ability to work any and all shifts and/or locations as assigned or directed
  • The ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
