Job description
Our University Client in Boston is looking for a Payroll Processor for a contract role. The Payroll Processor will be responsible for recording time-card entries into a timekeeping system. High attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for using computerized record keeping systems
- Ensure information keyed in the system includes all necessary data elements and is accurate and complete
- Review and verify data entry and correct data where necessary
- Obtain additional information when documentation is incomplete or incorrect
- Prepare and analyze various payroll related reports, including overtime, underpaid/overpaid and others as needed
- Identify ways to improve productivity and service delivery
- Perform related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills Include (but are not limited to):
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Prior experience using time entry or payroll systems preferred
- The ability to read and type information quickly and accurately
- Effective organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- The ability to use Word or Excel applications
- The ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience
- The ability to work any and all shifts and/or locations as assigned or directed
- The ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
