Our University client in Boston is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to support a busy office. This is a contract role with the potential to extend. The role will be on-site to start, with the potential to become partially remote. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information. Immediate availability to interview and start is needed. 


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Compiles requests for materials
  • Prepares purchase orders, and keeps track of purchases and supplies
  • Handles order inquiries
  • Makes sure that purchases arrive on schedule and meet the specifications identified by the purchaser
  • Prepare and submits reimbursement reports in CONCUR
  • Manage shopping carts in SAP
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over phone, and via email
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
  • SAP/Ariba experience required
  • Experience with higher education preferred, but not required
  • BA/BS in any field required
