Our University (Medical) client in Boston is looking for a Program Coordinator with excellent multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills to provide administrative support. As this position is located at a medical campus, all vaccinations must be up to date. This is a contract role with the possibility of temp-to-perm for the right fit. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Independently composing high level correspondence.
- Editing and proofreading all written materials
- Provides research support by verifying the validity of data
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment. Purchasing supplies as needed
- Serving as interdepartmental liaison
- Calendar maintenance (scheduling meetings, appointments, events, & room reservations)
- Makes registration and travel arrangements, including hotel reservations
- Assists executive assistant with planning and implementation of events, travel planning, and preparation of correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in person, over phone, and via email
- Solid understanding of MS Office programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to adapt to changes in the departmental needs
- Some experience with supporting procurement, accounts payable, human resources and payroll operations is a plus
- Experience with AP and Concur Expense Tracker is preferred, but not required
- BA/BS in any field
