Our University (Medical) client in Boston is looking for a Program Coordinator with excellent multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills to provide administrative support.  As this position is located at a medical campus, all vaccinations must be up to date. This is a contract role with the possibility of temp-to-perm for the right fit.  Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Independently composing high level correspondence. 
  • Editing and proofreading all written materials 
  • Provides research support by verifying the validity of data
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment. Purchasing supplies as needed
  • Serving as interdepartmental liaison 
  • Calendar maintenance (scheduling meetings, appointments, events, & room reservations)
  • Makes registration and travel arrangements, including hotel reservations
  • Assists executive assistant with planning and implementation of events, travel planning, and preparation of correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned


  • Strong communication skills in person, over phone, and via email
  • Solid understanding of MS Office programs 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the departmental needs
  • Some experience with supporting procurement, accounts payable, human resources and payroll operations is a plus
  • Experience with AP and Concur Expense Tracker is preferred, but not required
  • BA/BS in any field
