Our Government Agency client in Boston is looking for a Sr. Administrative Assistant who is computer savvy and an organized professional with effective communication skills to support their administrative functions. This is a contract role. Must exhibit discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist in the procurement process for projects to purchase equipment, conduct trainings and exercises, and research critical emergency preparedness
  • Assist in the completion of grant reporting requirements
  • Develop procurement documents and coordinate any required reviews and addendums
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing by answering emails and phone calls
  • Provide inventory tracking support and track performance metrics for grant funded projects
  • Develop contracts, purchase orders, and other documents, as required
  • Develop and maintain public/private partnerships, manage vendor relationships
  • Lead productive multi-discipline meetings
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Self starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude, with high customer service standards
  • Grants experienced preferred, but not required
  • Associates or BA/BS in any field
