Whether you are a recent college graduate or a seasoned pro who has been in the workforce for years, why not try incorporating the power of positivity into your daily routine? It won’t take much effort on your part, but will set a better tone for the day.

While you are having your coffee, tea or any other beverage of choice, try taking a few moments to think about something in your life that you are grateful for, or that makes you happy. Whether it is a special person, a particular memory, or even a favorite movie or show, try allowing yourself a few minutes to focus on something that will make you smile and fill you with joy? 

By shaking off negativity at the beginning of the day, you may find that work goes a lot smoother and time passes by faster, too! Not only will you personally benefit from this exercise, but those around you will as well. 

Let’s face it, wouldn’t you rather spend your day with someone who is upbeat and positive, or a chronic complainer like Debbie or Danny downer?
