Artificial Intelligence (AI) and software programs may have its advantages when it comes to weeding out unqualified candidates, but at Contemporaries, Inc. we still believe in the human touch.
While companies and some staffing firms are using AI or computer software programs to scan resumes and identify/or reduce the number of job applicants for a specific position, the lack of a personal touch may also lead to missing out on the best individual for the post.
Sometimes job seekers look great on paper (via a resume), but they may not have the necessary qualifications or even temperament that clients are looking for when they want a person who will be a good fit.
Also, a candidate’s resume does not always tell the whole picture. Unless the individual is in the human resources or staffing industry, chances are their resume may not be perfect. They may not include the skill sets or software program experience which a client is looking for. Would-be job seekers who do not know the key words in a job description which will help land them an interview.
Contemporaries staff conducts personal interviews will all our potential staff, and through a proprietary pre-screening process, recruiters then make recommendations on which contenders will be the best fit for any of our positions. We also stay in contact with our clients to get a real feel for their office, culture, and what type of candidate will work out best with the rest of the team.
So, while AI has its place for analytical tasks, translating languages, and many other excellent uses, when it comes to hiring the best staff for your organization, the personal touch is always the best choice.
