Our client, a university based in Boston, needs a long-term Temporary Program Coordinator I to Serve as the Assistant Director of Internships: September 2026 – April 2027.
With this full-time (30-35 hours a week) role, you will be responsible for working closely with the Center for Career Development’s Director of Internships and Industry Partnerships in helping to develop the newly formed Internships and Industry Partnerships team that encompasses a 4-person Employer Engagement team and the soon-to-be 4-person Internship team.
This position may be hybrid, although only local candidates will be considered.
This work will involve creating and institutionalizing procedures, systems, and materials to streamline the school’s Internship materials and programs. This position will be involved with the integration of a new internship platform and ensuring staff training and support.
In the role, you will also assist the Program Manager of the schools Nonprofit Internship Program, in fielding employer questions about the program, promoting nonprofit internship opportunities, tracking budget and funding allocations, and shepherding student applications through the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 program cycles, as well as support the Launchpad Associate Director and Program Manager in program development and operations as they prepare for the Summer 2027 internship season.
