Happy September!

by Aug 31, 2018

September is upon us, a time of change, reflection, and refocusing. The students are returning to their classes, professionals are returning from their vacations, and everyone is reflecting on the exciting and fun summer we all just finished. It feels like new things are on the horizon, and it’s the time to hone in on growth and next steps.

At this time of year, I like to reflect on the past 365 days since last September, and observe what has changed. I like to plan for the next year, and envision what I’ll be saying to myself a year from now in September 2019. This month is the dawn of fall, a time of recovery, rest, and planning. It’s an exciting time, not to mention the beautiful fall weather we have to look forward to.

What do you want to have achieved by this time next year? What habits do you hope to kick by then? What do you hope to recuperate from and reflect upon this fall?

With that, I wish everyone an amazing, relaxing, and fun Labor Day weekend. I know many of you are moving (another September phenomenon!) so if this is you, good luck and enjoy making your new space your own. We’ve all earned this long weekend, and it’s my favorite one of the year.
