Feel Good Friday: Cozy

Happy Friday! We’re finishing off the week with one final look at ways to adopt a mental framework that ensures you’re experiencing a maximum sense of comfort with yourself in your workplace and beyond. Being confident in yourself and your abilities is a surefire way to demonstrate to colleagues and employers that you’re more than capable of tackling any professional challenges thrown your way. It may be hard to feel comfortable and confident amidst our present, unprecedented circumstances, but you’ve already successfully made it this far–so we know you have the capacity to harness your own strengths as you continue forward. To best feel comfortable with yourself in any professional environment, check out the sayings we’ve curated for you today:
- “I make peace with the present moment.”
- “My imperfections make me unique.”
- “I embrace my best self today and I choose to live in a way that will bring peace and positivity to myself and others.”
Rather than getting caught up in reminiscing about the past or fantasizing about the future, remain mindful in the present moment and all it has to offer. After all, you’re living in the here and now, and a great way to feel comfortable with yourself is to accept that fact. Make sure to also practice self-compassion in accepting that everyone has imperfections, even you–but rather than getting frustrated by those imperfections, allow yourself to view them as a source of your unique strengths. Choose to embrace yourself and the possibilities of the self you’d like to become, and your unique strengths are sure to shine through as you bring positivity to your own life and the lives of everyone around you in your workplace community. Have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you again on Monday for our newest set of mood boosters!
