Overcoming doubt and belief in yourself

It’s normal to have doubts about our abilities to accomplish tasks. If you are not a numbers person and asked to compile financial reports then such doubts may even have merit. However, we are all capable of more than we do, and our capacities outstrip what we’ve already accomplished. Doubts should not set our limits.

In Maxie McCoy’s article ‘3 ways to believe more than you doubt’ she urges self-doubters to test their limits and suggests ways to achieve this. McCoy suggests that you believe in yourself and you push your limits. She also urges that you consciously reflect on the times that you overcame doubts and succeeded. It’s normal to doubt, but we have and can do more if we believe and try.
