Feeling good on the job starts at home with a good nights rest. According to the National Sleep Foundation, “those with excellent sleep health are nearly 3.5 times more likely to report feeling well-rested on a typical weekday than those with poor sleep health.”  Getting a good night sleep may be easier said than done, but this Foundation has offers a range of tips for helping you achieve this.  These include:

  1. Stick to a sleep schedule
  2. Practice a relaxing bedtime ritual
  3. Try Avoiding Power Naps
  4. Exercise Daily
  5. Organize your sleeping Environment
  6. Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillows.
  7. Avoid Bright Lights in the Evening
  8. Wind Down
