Monday Mood Booster: Clarity

by Nov 16, 2020

Welcome back! Amidst our turbulent times, it can be easy to get distracted and overwhelmed. You very likely (and understandably) have a lot of thoughts running through your mind right now. This week’s focus will help you pare those thoughts down, allowing you to find clarity and focus on what’s most important. You can apply this approach both in and out of your workplace. Think of it as doing a bit of mental cleaning and as a way to put your best foot forward. So take a deep breath. And check out the sayings that we’re highlighting for you today as a way to get your thoughts in order:

Allow yourself to make time and take time to clear your mind. It can be difficult to hit pause on racing thoughts, and it might feel selfish, but taking time to achieve greater mental clarity is both an act of self-care and something that can allow you to be a better member of your workplace community. If you find yourself confused, know that there are positive opportunities to be found amidst that confusion. Examine the ways in which you navigate through that confusion, and remember that you can keep that analysis in your workplace toolkit. Finally, remember to let go of that which does not serve you. Instead of getting stuck in the past, let yourself take what you need to take from previous events, and keep moving forward. Join us again tomorrow for even more ways to find clarity in any professional situation.
