Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful weekend. This week, we’re focusing on gratitude. We know that this year has brought with it ample difficulties–and so it might feel really difficult to find things for which to be grateful amidst these present, unprecedented circumstances. But practicing gratitude by finding even tiny matters to appreciate will help boost your mood, no matter your professional situation. Much like how the act of smiling regardless of how you’re feeling will help perk you up, mentally reframing the daily situations you encounter in a positive light and finding reasons to practice gratitude will also allow you to access a more positive mood. Think of each experience, whether it’s positive or negative, as offering up the opportunity to grow and learn. Strive to live your life within this framework, actively being aware of all of the opportunities to be found around you, and practicing gratitude for those chances.
