Feel Good Friday: Endurance

Happy Friday! You’ve made it to the end of your work week and have just a little bit further to go before you can rest up and recharge over the weekend. Remember that resting is just as important to persevering as engaging in measured action itself. Make sure to also keep in mind the fact that building up your endurance takes time. So it’s okay if you’re not at your ultimate career goals just yet! The important thing is to keep striving towards them, and to make sure that you’re proceeding steadily along the way. Much as it’s okay to still bask in life’s joys, it’s okay to take time to focus on yourself and your needs–on developing the strengths within yourself as much as you provide support to the growth of your teammates and professional organization. Prioritizing your own needs is a great way to build up your endurance as you figure out how to best address your particular areas of potential career growth. And it’s more than okay to take a break from keeping up with current events! Those occasional breaks will also allow you to better keep going. So take the weekend to focus on yourself and your needs!
