Wednesday Wellness: Pause

You’re halfway through the workweek. What better time is there than to pause and think about both where you’re going and where you’ve been? There will inevitably be lulls during your workday–take these as opportunities to breathe before plunging back into your tasks. Doing so will help you to be more present in your professional environment, and to find further opportunities amidst any challenging circumstances you may encounter. Keeping a positive frame of mind can help you remember that each and every challenge is an opportunity for growth. Today’s affirmations will help get you into that mindset:



While we’re at the center of the week, take a moment to center yourself, making sure you’re living in the present and finding the light amidst any uncertain circumstances you find yourself in your workplace and beyond. Remember that it’s important to press pause, both to assess your strengths and to consider how you might harness them towards creating a game plan for your career goals and overcoming professional obstacles. Let go of any past strategies that have not served you. As you cultivate a sense of calmness in yourself, make sure to also pass along these tips to your colleagues.
