Feel Good Friday: Pause
Happy Friday! You’ve made it to the end of the week again and can soon lean into the peaceful pause the weekend offers. Let yourself enjoy it! While we’ve reached the week’s end, we’re also at the month’s mid-point–and there’s no better time to press pause and consider how you’d like to proceed in your professional environment. So make sure you’re making time to reflect and making the most of any slower moments in your workplace and beyond. Today’s curated sayings are a surefire way to remind yourself to do just that:
- “I take all the time I need to rest and recharge, remembering that is the only way I have more to give!”
- “Rest is work, too. It’s a job that needs to be done.”
- “I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness.”
No matter where you’re at on your professional journey, it’s okay to use this slower time to take stock of how far you come, where you currently are, and where you’d like to be. The planning that you are able to do now will pay off later. While it may not initially seem like it, there are plenty of ways to find sources of inspiration amidst any difficult circumstances you may encounter. Take a deep breath and let yourself find them. And even if you need to block out time in your planner, make time for resting up and recharging, too–after all, balance is key to bringing your best self to your workplace each and every day.
