Empathy and understanding are critical yet often hard to find traits in an individual. When you try to see things from another’s perspective and relate to how you imagine they feel, it’s easier to understand where they’re coming from, why they act the way they are, and how to best support them. As Angelou said, we are much more alike than unalike.
