Elastic Thinking in the Workplace

by Oct 16, 2018

In today’s workplace and more so than at any other time, employees need to be flexible in their approach. The ability to see problems from different viewpoints and change from traditional methods of thinking to more effective ones is key to succeeding in business today.

Thomas Oppong terms this flexibility of thought ‘elastic thinking’ in his recent article entitled ‘The elastic brain: The most important thinking habit nobody taught you.’  Drawing on the observations of Albert Einstein, George Bernard Shaw and others, Oppong underpins the need to be able to revise and reform our thinking.
