It’s common to be on the job and believe there is a better way of doing a task.  However, it’s important to suggest the change in a manner that is respectful to the staff that has been there longer and may have established the process. But when you believe that your way of doing something is better, stick with it and prove it. The same is true of broader approaches towards work, such as how to lead or see a project through. Speaking even more broadly, Barack Obama observes:
