Wednesday Wellness! Positivity Series: Part 11
Whether it’s your first time on the job market or you’re an experienced employee, job interviews can be nerve-wracking. It’s okay to need some reassurance! Everyone can use a bit of cheerleading. And we know you can overcome any nervousness–check out these three sayings to help you curb your fear:
- “I am capable of answering questions thoughtfully, deserving of the opportunities I’ve received, and excited to have a meaningful conversation.”
- “I handle interviews with ease. I am focused and engaged.”
- “Right now, the job I am looking for is looking for me.”
Take a deep breath and stay in the moment! Even if you find your interview intimidating, it’s important to appreciate the opportunity you have in getting to the interview stage. You wouldn’t be there if you hadn’t already worked hard and stood out. Keep all of this in mind any time the stage fright starts to kick in and we know that you’ll shine like the star that you truly are.
