Feel Good Friday: Communicate
Happy Friday! You’ve made it through the week, successfully navigating every conversation and interaction that has come your way thanks to a combination of active listening and clearly, respectfully speaking. And as with any skill in life, it’s important to keep striving to improve your communication skills! Doing so is a surefire way to impress coworkers and employers alike. We’ve curated the sayings below to help inspire you to keep practicing:
- “The more positive I am, the easier it will be to start conversations.”
- “Every day I become more confident in my communication skills.”
- “Every day I practice listening to others.”
Remember to approach each conversation with a positive attitude, even if you’re tackling difficult subjects. Confidence is key when communicating; make sure you’re thinking about what it is that you want to say before saying it so that you can speak as confidently as possible and best show off your unique strengths! And keep in mind that listening is even more important than speaking. Be mindful and present during each opportunity for communication. That way you’ll be able to learn the most from every opportunity your workplace conversations offer up. Keep practicing your communication skills each and every day, and we know you’ll shine. Have a wonderful weekend, and join us again on Monday for our newest set of Mood Boosters!
