Feel Good Friday: Cheer
Happy Friday! You’ve made it all the way to the end of the week, and that’s worthy of a huge congratulations. So, congratulations! Today we’re featuring a few light-hearted sayings to provide a bit of cheer amidst these dreary times. Think of these affirmations as not frivolous but a serious component of your self-care toolkit. Amidst the current, unprecedented circumstances, think about what you can control. And let yourself have a few laughs along the way. To do that, and to boost your mood, check out the affirmations we’ve gathered for you today:
- “If Plan A doesn’t work, I have 25 more letters in the alphabet.”
- “Dear universe, I am totally open to some awesome coming my way.”
- “Don’t let the bad days make you think you have a bad life.”
As the saying goes, this too shall pass. The days may be difficult–and might even be extremely difficult–but the future is full of possibility. Just because things are bad now does not mean that they will be bad forever. There are still opportunities out there, even if they might be harder to find. Keep an open mind to the possibilities that exist all around you. Make sure you’re communicating with your support system and beyond; your network is a great resource for cheerleading. And to use another saying, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. It’s ok for circumstances to not work out as you’d hoped on the first attempt. It may take you until the middle of the alphabet to land where you’d like to land. The most important thing is to keep going. Have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you back here on Monday for our newest set of Mood Boosters!
